Tech&Bio 2011, the best demonstrations in organic and alternative agricultural techniques in Europe. 7-8 September 2011- Valence
An initiative brought to you by the Chambers of agriculture, supported by more than 40 partners, the third edition of the Tech&Bio "European Assembly of Organic and Alternative Agricultural Techniques" Trade Show will take place on 7 and 8 September 2011 in Valence, Drôme, France's no. 1 organic département.
A major event for agriculture, the purpose of Tech&Bio is to encourage the exchange of practices and expertise between organic and traditional farmers to develop efficient and sustainable agriculture, in keeping with consumer expectations.
More than 220 exhibitors and 12,000 visitors expected
The Chambers of agriculture and their partners, convinced that sustainable agriculture will develop first and foremost by raising the awareness of young people and through education, have chosen the site of the Valentin Agricultural Lycée to host Tech&Bio with its 220 exhibitors in 2011. Recognised for its innovative actions and its technological and vocational education focusing on organic production, this lycée has the equipment and surface area required to welcome the 12,000 expected visitors.
More than 100 demonstrations to promote the transmission of expertise
Approximately one hundred product and machinery demonstrations, very much appreciated during the previous editions, will be performed by the experts of the Chambers of agriculture. They will introduce new skills in organic agriculture by tackling a variety of subjects such as the comparison between machines, performance analysis, new processes or best practices for all production sectors. New feature in 2011: exhibitors will be able to demonstrate organic and alternative agricultural techniques on a dedicated site.
A fully-fledged European rendezvous
As organic and alternative agricultural techniques are an international issue, Tech&Bio is clearly committed to promoting exchanges between national and foreign professionals. In this respect, the show will involve foreign delegations and speakers from many countries: Germany, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Belgium, Denmark, Bulgaria, Romania, Netherlands, Ireland, Sweden, Quebec etc.
